Kinetic Solutions was awarded a contract by Code Consultants, Inc. (CCI), a Fire Protection Engineering and Life Safety Consulting firm, to customize Kinetic Solutions’ SCOUTä Incident Command System that will enhance Code Consultant’s goals of providing clients with innovative and practical business solutions.  Kinetic Solutions’ SCOUT™ technology will automate the mapping, reporting and communication processes related to Fire Code violations within buildings.  This application will use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology to map the interior and exterior of client facilities in order to provide a spatially accurate depiction of fire code violations. 

The ability of GIS technology to communicate concepts through visual cues will allow Code Consultants to relay information to their clients in a rapid and easily understood manner.  The underlying intelligent database that drives the GIS will include reporting and follow-up functions to improve communication of the required and completed corrective action, thereby producing considerable efficiency improvements for Code Consultants.   The custom software will incorporate digital floor plans of client facilities, digital images including photographs, tabular reporting, and analysis tools.
