Kinetic Solutions' Director of Operations, Lynn Krohn, is widely regarded by industry peers as an ISO implementation 'wizard.' She has been sought out by several geospatial companies to provide guidance through the IS0 certification process. In fact, that's how she ended up at Kinetic Solutions in the first place.

As an ancillary service, Kinetic Solutions offers ISO consulting services to our peers in the geospatial industry. These consulting services include on-site ISO 9002 Gap Analysis involving interviews with each department and project team, as well as documentation evaluation. A Gap Analysis report is prepared along with a prioritized Recommendation/Action Plan for implementation. Kinetic Solutions can also provide on-going consulting support for the implementation of ISO policies and procedures.

ISO 9000 Consulting Services

Kinetic Solutions provided professional consulting services to ESRI in their quest for ISO 9000 certification.  Kinetic Solutions’ Director of Operations, Lynn Krohn), has extensive experience helping companies achieve ISO certification. Her past experience included helping a major GIS company achieve ISO certification for two of their operations, located in Florida and Kuala Lumpur. 

In 2003, Ms. Krohn conducted an on-site ISO 9000 Gap Analysis of ESRI’s Database Services Division.  This Gap Analysis included a series of interviews with each department and project team as well as documentation evaluation.  The Database Services Division is responsible for all of ESRI’s NIMA contracts.  Kinetic Solutions prepared a Gap Analysis report and a prioritized Recommendation/Action Plan for an aggressive 9 month implementation.  Kinetic Solutions will be providing on-going consulting support for the implementation of ISO policies and procedures.
