GIS Geodatabase Production - National Imagery Mapping Agency (NIMA)

Kinetic Solutions was a subcontractor to ESRI on the Omnibus Program for the National Imagery and Mapping Agency (now called the National Geo-spatial Intelligence Agency) to develop a GIS Geodatabase of Country Data to interpret and extract topographic features from imagery, and then build a corresponding geodatabase.  The work was performed using ESRI’s Production Line Tool Set software, and the tasks included feature data collection, interpretation of aerial photography, and analysis of satellite imagery.  Project Specific Guidelines and automatic verification software were used to ensure that the quality of the data collected met or exceeded client requirements. NIMA Reviewers consistently praised our accuracy, overall quality and timely deliveries.

Kinetic Solutions developed a detailed training program prior to the award of the project.  Kinetic Solutions worked closely with ESRI’s St. Louis and Redlands offices to develop and implement consistent, complementary methodologies and to augment staff training. This relationship helped Kinetic Solutions improve overall quality and minimize rework.
