Kinetic Solutions,
LLC wins website development for St.
Louis Metro Police

7, 2003) Kinetic
Solutions has been awarded a contract by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police
Department (SLMPD) to design, develop and host the SLMPD’s website. The website
will provide a vital communication link within the department and will enable
St. Louis and bi-state area citizen’s to stay up-to-date with the SLMPD’s
policing efforts.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department website will showcase a Regional
Crime Report that allows users to query crime statistics for municipalities
within the St. Louis region. A Frequently Asked Questions page will give
residents information about important phone numbers and organizations associated
with the SLMPD. The website will also provide a link to SafeCity™, the publicly
accessible crime mapping website, also created by Kinetic Solutions for the
SLMPD.
Kinetic Solutions has enjoyed a long-standing business relationship with the
Department. Projects with the SLMPD include the development and implementation
of the SafeCity™ website that earned the department the 2003 St. Louis
Technology Award and numerous accolades from the community. Kinetic Solutions
is also responsible for daily data acquisition and on-going website management
for SafeCity™. Since the development of SafeCity™, Kinetic Solutions has added
the Parolee and Probationer Mapping System module and has aided the department
in planning for the World Agricultural Forum demonstrations with a distinctive
event planning and incident management tool. SafeCity™ is currently available
to the public through a link on the City of St. Louis Community Information
