Data Migration/Application Development

ESRI engaged KBA and Kinetic Solutions to perform data migration services to support a new Arc/Info installation. The conversion involved coverage boundaries, basin boundaries, planning information, census blocks, vicinity maps, rain gauge sites, flow monitoring sites, tax lot information, sanitary sewer, and storm water data. The original data was designed to create readable map sheets for field crews, which compromised the topology and the ability to analyze the network. Customized applications were developed to analyze and correct the data to ensure that the features were topographically correct.
